On March 26, 2016, Troop 1 from Manville, RI came in for a volunteer day to help stock shelves and distribute food to the needy. This project was coordinated by scout Aidan Carey as part of his boy scout "Life Project". In addition to organizing the event, Aidan also ran a food drive for perishable foods in need at the pantry.
